Huntington Beach 64, Long Beach Wilson 50--The Oilers (10-3) built a 21-4 lead after one quarter and coasted to a victory in the quarterfinals.
Freshman forward Clare Walker scored 14 points and center Amber Ambrose had 13 points and 12 rebounds for Huntington Beach.
Lakewood 69, Edison 49--Center Charon Johnson scored 25 points to pace Lakewood (11-1) in a quarterfinal game. Erika Miller had 24 points for Edison (9-3).
Valencia 64, El Toro 56--Forward Sommer McLane scored 22 for Valencia (7-4) in a consolation game.
Katella 39, Foothill 36--Guard Chris Carrillo had 14 points for Katella in a consolation game.
Mater Dei 67, Mission Viejo 32--Melissa McDonald had 20 points, 10 rebounds and five steals for Mater Dei (3-7) in a consolation game. The Monarchs outscored the Diablos, 37-13, in the second half. Zsuzsi Burkhalter added 19 points for Mater Dei.
Loara 58, Canyon Country Canyon 43--In the consolation quarterfinals, senior center Tracy Titus scored a tournament-record 43 points to lead Loara (7-6). Titus was 16 of 34 from the floor and 11 of 19 from the free-throw line to break former La Quinta star Amy Jalewalia’s mark of 41 points set in 1988.
In the Costa Mesa tournament:
Woodbridge 40, San Clemente 36--Nicole Schwartz and Deanna Harry each scored 10 points to lead Woodbridge (9-1) in a quarterfinal.
Brea-Olinda 70, Schurr 35--Jody Anton scored 16 points and Nicole Clark and Jinelle Williams each added 12 for Brea-Olinda (10-0) in a quarterfinal.
Costa Mesa 70, Bishop 46--Oivia DiCamilli scored 18 points, Janet Sugyama scored 15 and was four of four from three-point range, and Rachel Ward scored 14 points for Costa Mesa (7-4).
In the Santiago tournament:
El Modena 58, Fullerton 43--Melizza Benitez had 19 points and 12 rebounds and Michelle Duckworth had 11 points for El Modena (6-1) in a first-round game.
Newport Harbor 62, Pacifica 29--Jenni Hall had a career-high 33 points and added seven rebounds for Newport Harbor (5-5) in a first-round game.
In the Orange Glen tournament:
Rancho Bernardo 50, University 44--Robin Blacock scored 28 points for Rancho Bernardo (5-2) in the first round. Tara Wolff scored 23 points and had 16 rebounds for University (4-5).
In nonleague play:
Magnolia 65, Orange 31--Diana Cervantes had 22 points, Joyce Pe’a had 17 points and Yolanda Hearvey had 10 points and 11 rebounds for host Magnolia (7-1).
Savanna 74, Villa Park 26--Carrie Frederick scored 34 points, had 10 rebounds and 12 assists for host Savanna (12-1). Stacey Aliff added 22 points for Savanna.
Rancho Alamitos 59, Esperanza 49--Anita Stecker had 15 points and 19 rebounds and Shannon James had 14 points for host Rancho Alamitos (9-0).
Los Amigos 59, Saddleback 41--May Ly had 27 points for host Los Amigos (3-4).
