Julio Cesar Chavez, the World Boxing Council super-lightweight and International Boxing Federation junior welterweight champion, filed suit in New York Supreme Court against Bob Arum and Top Rank, Inc., charging that Arum fraudulently induced him to sign a promotional contract with Top Rank last December.
Chavez is not seeking money, only asking the court to invalidate the contract.
