Camarillo 12, Agoura 9--Camarillo scored six runs in the seventh inning courtesy of three walks, three hits and three hit batsmen in a Marmonte League game at Agoura. Robert Sanchez was three for five with two RBIs and Andy Hall and Mike Muncy each had two hits and three RBIs for Camarillo (10-5, 3-4).

Channel Islands 19, Royal 4--Jacob Cruz hit two home runs and drove in five runs to pace a 19-hit attack by Channel Islands (10-3, 5-2) in a Marmonte League game at Royal. Jose Gastelum had three hits, and Tajah Merrill and Ray Rangel each drove in three runs for Channel Islands.

Thousand Oaks 13, Newbury Park 5--David Skeels was three for three, scored three runs and had three RBIs for host Thousand Oaks (12-5, 5-2) in a Marmonte League game. The Lancers scored six runs in the first inning to overcome a 2-0 deficit.

North Hollywood 11, Canoga Park 5--Adrian Perez, playing his first game, hit two homers for host North Hollywood in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game.

Kennedy 3, Taft 2--Visiting Kennedy scored three runs in the seventh inning of the Northwest Valley Conference game. Troy Bourne scored on a two-out, bases-loaded walk and Jeff Tagliaferri doubled home two more for Kennedy (11-6, 7-3). John Erganian was two for three for Taft (9-9, 4-6). Taft’s Nathan Voytek, who had thrown four shutouts in five previous starts, pitched six scoreless innings before yielding to Mike Krasner in the seventh.

Chatsworth 7, Cleveland 4--Thurman Williams and Eddie Ramos each had two hits for visiting Chatsworth (10-6-1, 6-3-1) in the Northwest Valley Conference game. Julio Marcial was two for four with three RBIs for Cleveland (5-8, 4-6).

Canyon 3, Palmdale 2 (eight innings)--Jamie Ray scored Billy Sivley with a single with one out in the eighth to give host Canyon the Golden League victory. Ray was four for four with two RBIs and two doubles. Greg Hamm (1-0) earned the victory in relief.

Alemany 10, St. Paul 9--Alemany’s Andy Dominique hit a sixth-inning grand slam, his second in two games, to tie the score, 9-9, in a Mission League game. Four batters later, Tom Anderson squeezed home Kirk Fellows with the winning run.

Grant 12, Monroe 7--Julio Rodriguez hit two home runs and drove in three runs for host Grant in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game. Justin Howard was two for three with three RBIs and Petur Georgesson had two doubles for Grant (8-8, 6-3).

Poly 18, Van Nuys 4--Eric Diaz threw a six-hitter, had two hits and drove in three runs to lead the Parrots (17-1, 10-0) past the Wolves (3-8, 2-6) in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at Van Nuys.

San Fernando 16, Reseda 2--Jose Nunez drove in five runs on a double and a home run for San Fernando (9-8, 6-4) in a Northwest Valley Conference game.

Sylmar 4, Birmingham 1--James Encinas drove in a pair of runs for Sylmar (13-4, 9-1) in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at Birmingham.

Bell-Jeff 4, Harvard 2--Brett Lindsay pitched a five-hitter and struck out 10 to help the Guards (3-12, 1-2) beat Harvard (5-9, 1-2) in a San Fernando League game at Bell-Jeff.

COLLEGE BASEBALL

The Master’s 8, Point Loma Nazarene 4--Andy Martin hit two home runs and a triple for Master’s (19-14). Chris Beck (8-3) picked up the victory.

GIRLS’ SOFTBALL

Taft 8, El Camino Real 2--Taft used strong defense to beat El Camino Real for the first time in six years. Robbi Shapiro, Taft’s only senior, was two for three with three RBIs in the West Valley League game.

Granada Hills 4, Cleveland 0--Brandy Brennan threw a two-hitter, struck out 12 and went three for three for the host Highlanders (6-2, 5-0) in a North Valley League game.

Chatsworth 13, Reseda 12 (eight innings)--A throwing error allowed Metza Simpson to score the winning run for Chatsworth, which led by 11 runs after three innings but allowed Reseda nine runs in the fifth.

Alemany 4, St. Paul 3--Marisa Everett drove in the winning run for Alemany (11-2, 4-0) with a two-out, bases-loaded, ground-rule double in the bottom of the seventh of the Mission League game.

WOMEN’S SOFTBALL

Christ College 4-1, Cal Lutheran 0-14--Kim White went three for four with two RBIs in the second game of an NAIA District 3 doubleheader to help the Regals (22-6) split with host Christ College.

Moorpark 3, Canyons 0--Stevie Campbell had three hits, scored two runs and stole two bases and Annette Bell and Gina Skinner each had two hits for Moorpark (22-6, 6-0) in a Western State Conference game.
