Canyons’ De La Maza Signs Letter to Play Baseball for CS Sacramento

Roland De La Maza, a sophomore right-handed pitcher for College of the Canyons, said he has signed a letter of intent to play baseball for Cal State Sacramento next season.

De La Maza (6-foot-3, 185 pounds), who attended St. Genevieve High, will join former Cougar standouts Ron Robart and Mike Teich at Sacramento. De La Maza has won eight of his 11 decisions this season.
