Oak Park 34, Fillmore 22--Junior running back Tarik Smith scored four touchdowns and rushed for 174 yards in 12 carries as the host Eagles (2-0) cruised.
In a game that featured a number of big plays, it was Smith who led the way, scoring on runs of 68, 67 and 27 yards in addition to catching a 68-yard scoring pass from Damian Delfino.
Smith gave the Eagles a quick 7-0 lead when he scampered 68 yards on the first play from scrimmage. Fillmore answered on the ensuing kickoff when Rey Garnica bolted 90 yards for the tying score.
Delfino completed five of nine passes for 139 yards and a touchdown. Garnica finished with 86 yards in 21 carries.
