Krenik Leads CSUN to Volleyball Win Over San Luis Obispo
Junior Dawn Krenik recorded 16 kills and hit for a .333 percentage Saturday night to carry Cal State Northridge to a 15-13, 17-15, 15-4 women’s nonconference volleyball win over host Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Nancy Nicholls, another junior, contributed 12 kills while hitting .321 for the Matadors.
Nicholls also had seven blocks. Northridge finished with 25 blocks as a team.
Northridge, playing the final match of a seven-match trip, improved to 13-14. The Matadors will return to Matador Gym on Tuesday for a match against Loyola Marymount.
