Crenshaw 12, Reseda 0--Top-ranked Crenshaw limited Reseda (5-6)to 75 yards in offense en route to its seventh consecutive victory in a 3-A quarterfinal.
Scoreless in the second quarter and facing a third-and-40 situation from its own 21-yard-line, Crenshaw opened the scoring when quarterback Ennis Powell connected with wide receiver Eric Scott for a 79-yard touchdown pass play. Scott caught the ball at the Cougar 20, followed his blocking to the 35 and then burst down the left sideline for the score.
