PREP SOCCER ROUNDUP : Corona del Mar Boys Rout Trabuco Hills, 6-1

Jason Boyce scored three goals and Corona del Mar defeated Trabuco Hills, 6-1, Wednesday to advance to the title match of the Irvine boys’ soccer tournament.

Travis Grant added two goals for the Sea Kings, who meet Saddleback for the championship at 7 p.m. Saturday at Irvine Stadium.

Saddleback 6, Irvine 0--Jose Escudero scored three goals and Jorge Guerrero scored two for the Roadrunners, who advanced to the title game.

In the championship semifinals of the Irvine girls’ tournament:

Dana Hills 2, Trabuco Hills 1 (penalty kicks)--The Dolphins outscored the Mustangs, 3-1, in penalty kicks to advance to Saturday’s 5 p.m. final. Amy Kroeger scored a second-half goal for Dana Hills. Kirsten Lowery got Trabuco Hills’ goal, also in the second half.

In nonleague boys’ soccer:

Santa Ana 1, Mission Viejo 0--Rafael Serrano scored 20 minutes into the game and goalkeeper Jose Barbosa needed to make just three saves as the defending Southern Section champion Saints remained undefeated (4-0).

Ocean View 5, La Quinta 0--Luan Lai scored three goals and Bradley Walker and Kevin Coye each scored one for Ocean View (1-1).

El Modena 4, Eisenhower 1--Jose Prado scored two goals for the Vanguards (2-0) at El Modena. Jason Martinez and Brian Lopez also scored goals for El Modena.

Villa Park 2, Magnolia 1--David Szekeres scored two goals early in the second half for visiting Villa Park (5-0). Szekeres has eight goals in five matches this season.

Servite 9, Savanna 0--Barclay Harty scored three goals and Shawn Parchan and Philip Hurst two each for Servite (2-0-1).

Sonora 6, Santiago 0--Brian Dacuycuy and Chris Fernandez each had two goals for host Sonora (3-1), which led 3-0 at the half.

El Dorado 2, Troy 1--Carlos Cedano’s two first-half goals held up as the host Hawks (2-0-1) remained undefeated. Todd Warner scored a second-half goal for Troy.
