In another Pacific Coast League game:

Laguna Hills 49, Laguna Beach 32--Andrea Nelson had 12 points for the host Hawks (10-5, 4-1). Nikki Klempen scored a game-high 18 points and made four three-point shots for Laguna Beach (2-13, 0-5).

In the Angelus League:

Mater Dei 64, Santa Margarita 41--Heather Lee scored 17 points for the Monarchs (7-8, 2-1), who led 33-19 at the half.

Tara Moss had 13 for Santa Margarita (11-8, 2-1).

In the Century League:

El Modena 57, Orange 31--Jamie Shine had 10 points, Kathy Farina and Alyson Watts each had nine for El Modena (9-5, 5-0). Cori Stroud had eight points for Orange (5-12, 1-4).

Santa Ana Valley 52, Canyon 48--Tracey Thomas scored 17 points and had 14 rebounds for Santa Ana Valley (10-7, 4-1), which moved into second place. Erin Waggoner scored 24 for Canyon (3-2 in league).

Villa Park 53, Foothill 38--Tara Earl (18), Kim Yetter (15) and Mickey Trollinger (14) reached double figures in the Spartans’ (2-3, 5-9) road victory.

In the Freeway League:

Fullerton 45, Buena Park 17--Marinela Misa had nine points for Fullerton (12-5, 3-1).

Sonora 61, Sunny Hills 53 (OT)--Chris Nonis tied the score with 18 seconds left in regulation, and then scored three points in overtime for Sonora (6-9, 1-3). The Raiders shut out Sunny Hills in overtime. Nonis finished with 23 points, and Denise Donadio added 10.

La Habra 50, Troy 25--Zrinka Kristich scored 17 points to lead La Habra (9-5, 4-0) into sole possession of first place in league, ahead of Troy (11-4, 3-1). In the Olympic League:

Orange Lutheran 54, Capistrano Valley Christian 36--Heidi Elliott had 18 points and 18 rebounds for Orange Lutheran (5-1 in league).

In the Orange League:

Brea-Olinda 66, Savanna 37--Nicole Erickson had 22 points and Sarah Beckley had 12 for Brea-Olinda (17-2, 4-0), the top-ranked team in the county.

Valencia 64, Anaheim 25--Valencia outscored Anaheim 40-6 in the second half. Judy Hlavac had 16 points for the Tigers.

In the Sea View League:

University 55, Corona del Mar 42--Christie Loud and Tara Wolff each finished with 12 points for University (13-6, 4-1), which has won 11 of its past 12 games.

Mollie Flint had 25 for Corona del Mar (6-13, 1-4).

Woodbridge 67, Saddleback 21--Jenny Fenton and Lisa Ripley each had 10 points for visiting Woodbridge (13-6, 2-3).

In the Sunset League:

Edison 59, Huntington Beach 45--The Chargers won their fourth consecutive league game after starting league play with two losses. Joan Paje had 20 points and Melanie Iwamasa 15 for Edison (9-7, 4-2).

Deanna Itow had 15 points for the Oilers (10-8, 4-2).

In the South Coast League:

Capistrano Valley 51, Dana Hills 28--Angie White scored 22 points for Capistrano Valley (19-1, 5-0), ranked second in the county.

San Clemente 71, Irvine 35--Kristin McOwen (16), Michele MacIntyre 11, and Maili Rohner (10) reached double figures for the Tritons (13-5, 4-1).

In the Sunset League:

Marina 76, Santa Ana 38--Jessica Trippet and reserve forward Annie Presutti each scored 12 points for No. 3 Marina (16-3, 5-1).

Ocean View 51, Fountain Valley 41--Theresa Martini had 17 points and eight rebounds for Ocean View (13-5, 4-2). Shilpa Shah had 14 points for Fountain Valley (9-10, 3-3).
