Doug MacKenzie, former baseball coach at Canoga Park High, has been selected coach at Ribet Academy in La Canada. MacKenzie, 65, completed a 37-year career at Canoga Park in 1987 by leading the Hunters to the City Section 4-A Division title.

Adam Kline, a Royal High linebacker, has signed a national letter of intent to play football next fall at Cal State Northridge. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound inside linebacker was named to The Times’ All-Ventura County second team. Kline also was a first team All-Marmonte League selection.
