DeLaveaga Wins Regional Honor
Jeff deLaveaga, a senior guard at Cal Lutheran, has been named to the NCAA Division III All-West Region team by the National Assn. of Basketball Coaches.
DeLaveaga leads Division III scorers with a 29-point average and this season has scored 20 or more points in 20 of 23 games, 30 or more in 10 games and 40 or more in three games.
His highest point total was 47 in a 108-103 overtime loss to Azusa Pacific on Nov. 29.
DeLaveaga has averaged 27.9 points in his 75-game career at Cal Lutheran.
