Crawford 5, La Jolla 2--All of No. 2-seeded Crawford’s goals came unassisted. Minh Nguyen scored three, and teammate Fortunato Paullo provided the others.

Coronado 3, West Hills 1--No. 4-seeded Coronado came back from a 1-0 halftime deficit.

Division I

Poway 2, Bonita Vista 0--Ryan Bowers and Greg Fitzgerald scored for the Titans (19-5-2), who were forced to spend the afternoon wondering who their first-round opponent would be. The Metro Conference originally removed Bonita Vista from the playoffs after it was learned the Barons used an ineligible player. Southwest High was moved into the playoffs, but before Tuesday’s game, Metro Conference principals met and rescinded their decision. However, Bonita Vista (7-11-3), which forfeited eight victories, lost its No. 3 seed and home-field advantage.

San Diego 3, Granite Hills 1--Juan Velasco scored all three goals for No. 1-seeded San Diego (20-0-1).

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Division I

San Dieguito 1, Mira Mesa 0--Allie Kemp scored her 30th goal of the season nine minutes into overtime. Mira Mesa (9-5-7) played the entire game in a defensive shell and did not get off any shots. Top-seeded San Dieguito (22-0-1) managed 41 shots and 17 corner kicks.

Bonita Vista 4, Granite Hills 1--Three of Bonita Vista’s goals came off free kicks. Bianca Baca scored twice for the No. 2-seeded Barons (22-2-3) and Darci Comer and Holly Smith each scored once.

Mt. Carmel 4, Hilltop 0--Susan Scott, Erica Cadondon, Vanessa Phillips and Felicia Stinnett scored the goals and Carrie Carl got the shutout for No. 4 Mt. Carmel (15-7-2).

Patrick Henry 1, Poway 0--Jamie Nunez’s second-half goal gave No. 6 Patrick Henry an upset against No. 3 Poway (17-6-2). Goalie Danielle Lenett recorded her ninth shutout of the season for the Patriots (13-3-3).

Division III

La Jolla 2, Madison 1--Melanie McCutchan’s header off a rebound with five minutes remaining proved to be the winner for No. 2 La Jolla (13-4-1). Madison (10-7-4) led, 1-0, at the half, but La Jolla’s Pam Lehr, on an assist by Julie Maund, scored midway through the second half. Maund also assisted on the game winner.
