Co-coaches Troxel and Millard will rebuild a team that shared the league title with Laguna Hills last season but lost six all-league players to graduation. They’ll build around Wilson, a second-team all-league selection last year who pitched a no-hitter against Century. Wilson was 7-3 with a 1.80 earned-run average. Look for Johner, a baseball newcomer who has been the school’s starting quarterback the past two seasons, to fill in on the mound along with Guido, Ramirez and Smith. “Hopefully, someone is going to step forward and help us,” Troxel said. King, a first baseman, and Ramirez, a third basemen, should anchor the infield. Both were second-team all-league selections last season. Alvarez and Pajarito started eight and nine games, respectively, for the Eagles, who reached the second round of the Southern Section tournament last season. Estancia has reached the playoffs seven of the past eight years, and Troxel said a playoff berth will be tough to come by in the league. “Laguna Hills and Trabuco Hills are the favorites,” he said.
