ORANGE COUNTY ALL-STAR BASKETBALL : Edison’s Jessie, Mater Dei’s Geary Top Picks

Forward Brandon Jessie of Edison will lead the South team and guard Reggie Geary of Mater Dei will lead the North in the 27th Orange County All-Star boys’ basketball game scheduled April 25 at Cypress College.

Jessie averaged 22.7 points and 11.5 rebounds this season. Geary, who has signed with Arizona, averaged 14.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 6.5 assists.

Tustin had two players--forward Jentry Moore and guard Derek Roche--selected by South Coach Roy Miller of Huntington Beach. Servite had two--forwards Adam Anderson and Ryan Dodd--selected by North Coach Greg Hoffman of Western.

Wendell Wickersham of La Habra, who is recovering from cancer, was named an honorary member of the North team.
