Huntington Beach Top-Ranked Team in Baseball Poll

Huntington Beach, winner of the Loara tournament, is the top-ranked team in the opening Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep baseball poll.
Huntington Beach defeated El Dorado, 8-3, in the championship game of the 32-team tournament. Mater Dei, winner of the Newport Elks tournament, is ranked second and El Dorado is third.
