Delayed Legion All-Star Game a Night Affair
After a delay caused by an unseasonal rainout last weekend, the American Legion District 20 All-Star Game will be held at 7 tonight at Burroughs High.
It marks the second time in the 27-year history of the game that it will be played under the lights. Last week’s game was to be an afternoon affair.
Teams will divided by division into East and West squads. Players from teams in the Northern and Western divisions will play for the West and players from the Eastern and Southern will play for the East.
Valley North will be represented by four players on the West roster: Bryan LaCour, Eddie Ramos, Mark Lopez and Alex Estrada. Van Nuys-Notre Dame will send four players to the East: Chris Garza, Chris Leveque, Glen Carson and Lou Tapia.
San Fernando’s Joe Bergara will coach the East and Valley North’s Pete Redfern will coach the West.
