Flickinger to Coach Volleyball at El Modena

ORANGE — Dale Flickinger, who coached Corona del Mar High to the 1990 Division I State championship, has been named girls’ volleyball coach at El Modena High, the school announced Thursday.
Flickinger coached USC to a sixth-place national finish in 1978, spent five years as Arizona State’s head coach and guided the Orange County Volleyball Club to six age-group Junior Olympic titles.
