London Finishes 3rd in Girls’ 18 Division

Nicole London of Rolling Hills Estates defeated Katie Schlukebir of Kalamazoo, Mich., 7-5, 6-4, Saturday to finish third at the United States Tennis Assn. girls’ 18 national championship at the Almaden Valley Athletic Club.

London, who was seeded fourth, lost to sixth-seeded Julie Steven of Wichita, Kan., 6-2, 6-0, in a semifinal match Friday.
