OUTLOOK
Rancho Santiago’s defense should keep the Dons in the game if its offense can’t. Aumua was outstanding last year on the defensive line, with seven sacks and two interceptions. Sauni is back at nose guard and linebacker Petronis was voted the team’s freshman of the year last season. Wilson, an all-conference pick two years ago, is back at linebacker after being academically ineligible last season. Gonzalez, an offensive lineman who scored a touchdown last year after picking up an intentional fumble, is the only offensive starter back. Freshman Garcia should get the first chance at quarterback.
