Littlerock 14, Serrano 7--Running backs John Venema and Bryan Wilkins combined for 183 rushing yards to lead the Lobos over Serrano at Antelope Valley High.

Littlerock opened the scoring in the second quarter when Venema (94 yards in 14 carries) ran in from four yards. Serrano countered in the third quarter with an 82-yard touchdown pass play from Randy Howell to John Kavanaugh to tie the score, 7-7.

But Littlerock scored the winning touchdown on its next possession early in the fourth quarter when Kie Hampton scored on a five-yard run.

Wilkins, a sophomore, finished with 89 yards in 17 carries.

Serrano reached the Littlerock 30-yard-line late in the fourth quarter, but quarterback Howell fumbled a snap and Lobo lineman Juan Estrada recovered the ball.
