COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOOTBALL : Cerritos, Morgan Run Past Orange Coast, 23-10
Darnell Morgan rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns to lead Cerritos College to a 23-10 nonconference victory over Orange Coast Saturday at Le Bard Stadium.
Morgan scored on a 67-yard run just 2 minutes 54 seconds into the game to give Cerritos a 7-0 lead.

Community college--A story that appeared in Sunday’s editions should have said Cerritos College defeated Golden West, 23-10, in a nonconference football game at LeBard Stadium.
Orange Coast tied the score, 7-7, after John Shipp threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Jeff Bush with 4:08 remaining in the second quarter, and the Pirates (0-1) took their only lead of the game, 10-7, when Josh Klein kicked a 27-yard field goal with 21 seconds remaining in the half.
The teams combined for 10 turnovers, and Malculm Hunt returned an interception 33 yards for a touchdown to give Cerritos a 15-10 lead in the third quarter.
