Long Beach Poly 32, Palmdale 19--Quarterback Robert Toler led the way for the Jackrabbits (2-2), completing seven of 10 passes for 134 yards in the first half. Included were touchdown passes of 34 and 30 yards to Jason McCorvey as Poly built a 32-7 halftime lead.

Running back Scoey Peters rushed 19 times for 92 yards and two touchdowns for the Jackrabbits. Poly’s other touchdown came on a seven-yard run by Henry Thomas.

Palmdale quarterback Terrence Zenno ran 43 yards for the Falcons’ only score of the first half, but he also threw three interceptions--two of which led to Poly touchdowns. In the second half, Palmdale scored on a 36-yard interception return by safety Adam Greenidge and a 39-yard scoring toss from Zenno to Al Corney.
