County Teams Gather for Cross-Country Meet

IRVINE — The Orange County cross-country championships, the first big test for most county teams, will begin at 8 a.m. today at Irvine Park.

The boys’ division features a battle between No. 1-ranked Katella, led by Mike Love, No. 2 Newport Harbor and No. 3 Saddleback. In the girls’ division, top-ranked Edison can expect challenges from No. 2 Corona del Mar and No. 3 Irvine.
