Cal Lutheran 17, Occidental 14--Ben Schuldheisz kicked a 34-yard field goal in overtime to give Cal Lutheran a SCIAC victory at Thousand Oaks.
The SCIAC plays a tiebreaker in which each team gets the ball on its opponents’ 25-yard line. Occidental, 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the SCIAC, had the ball first, but Erik Lundquist missed a 37-yard field-goal attempt.
Cassidy O’Sullivan 20-yard touchdown run got Cal Lutheran (2-3, 2-1) even, 14-14.

Jamal Farmer rushed 19 times for 208 yards and three touchdowns as Cal State Northridge routed Santa Clara, 42-18, at Santa Clara. The Matadors (3-3) held the Broncos (4-3) to six yards rushing. . . .
