COMMUNITY COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Rosenberg Scores 4 in Irvine Valley’s 4-2 Soccer Victory

Keith Rosenberg scored four goals as Irvine Valley beat Rancho Santiago, 4-2, in an Orange Empire Conference men’s soccer match Friday at Rancho Santiago.

Rosenberg leads the conference in goals with 22 goals this season. Matt Levian had 10 saves for Irvine Valley (9-2-4, 4-1-2 in conference). Rancho Santiago is 8-3-2, 3-2-2.

Riverside 3, Fullerton 1--Brian Nickel scored two goals for conference-leading Riverside (8-2-3, 5-1-1). Carlos Castillo scored for Fullerton (7-4-5, 3-2-2).

In Orange Empire Conference women’s volleyball:

Golden West 3, Rancho Santiago 0--Heather Flaherty had 13 kills for visiting Golden West (15-0, 6-0), which won, 15-1, 15-3, 15-6. Golden West, the two-time defending State champion, has won 50 consecutive matches. Rancho Santiago is 0-3, 0-6.
