Thousand Oaks 42, Channel Islands 0--Tailback Fred Polito rushed for 151 yards in 15 carries and scored two touchdowns as the Lancers scored 36 points in the second half.

Polito had a 47-yard touchdown run on the Lancers’ first possession of the second half and scored from one yard to give Thousand Oaks a 21-0 lead with 2:10 left in the third quarter.

Quarterback Trevor Thompson hit tight end Kevin Krim for a five-yard score, and junior running back Joe Robles scored from two yards for Thousand Oaks (3-3-1, 3-1).

Josh Pace intercepted a pass and returned it 21 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter. John Tunick also intercepted two passes for Thousand Oaks. Channel Islands (2-5, 0-4) was held to 102 yards.
