Loyola 21, Alemany 14--Quarterback Clelio Boccato scored on a one-yard run with one minute to play to cap a 10-play, 60-yard drive and lift visiting Loyola (8-0, 3-0), the No. 1-ranked team in the state.
Boccato (six carries for 77 yards) also scored on a 65-yard run on the third play of the third quarter.
Alemany (1-6-1, 1-2) took a 14-7 lead with 1:28 left in the third quarter when quarterback Chris Tashima scored from two yards. Tashima completed five of 10 passes for 48 yards.
The Indians tied the score when Marwin Willard (11 carries for 41 yards) scored from one yard 58 seconds before halftime.
