Taft 26, Fremont 14--Mike Ferguson, a junior quarterback, passed for two touchdowns and ran for another to lead the Toreadors (8-4) over the Pathfinders in a 3-A game at Taft.

Fremont (4-8) led, 14-0, but Ferguson and sophomore tailback Jerry Brown, who rushed for a personal-best 209 yards in 31 carries, led the rally.
