Notre Dame 60, Katella 50--Monte Marcaccini scored 17 points and Glen Carson added 16 to lead the Knights (3-1) in the third-place game of the Savanna Western tournament.

Highland 40, Tehachapi 36--Brian Burleson scored 14 points to lead Highland (4-0) in the championship game of the Paraclete tournament.

Providence 63, St. Bonaventure 43--Barry Dabbaghian scored 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Pioneers (4-0) in the championship game of the Providence tournament.

Faith Baptist 67, Montclair Prep 58--Tony Hoggatts scored 20 points to lead the Contenders in the championship game of their own tournament. Teammate Tyrone McCoy added 11 points, and James DeCarriere, the tournament’s most valuable player, scored nine.

Harvard-Westlake 61, Bretheren Christian 55--Scott Garrison scored a game-high 23 points and had 10 rebounds to lead the Wolverines (3-1) in the fifth-place game of the Faith Baptist tournament.

Santa Maria 59, Newbury Park 57--Geoff Snowden’s layup at the buzzer lifted Santa Maria to a consolation-championship victory in the Nordhoff tournament.

Keith Smith scored 20 points for Newbury Park (1-2) and Leodes Van Buren added 11.

Arroyo Grande 55, Crespi 49--The game slowly slipped away from Crespi in the second half of the third-place game of the San Luis Obispo tournament. Crespi’s Scott Eshner scored 12 points and Jeff Luderer added 11.

Bell-Jeff 65, Mission 58--Junior guard Dan Mancinelli scored 19 points to lead the Guards (1-2) in a seventh-place game of the Morro Bay tournament.

Liberty Christian 65, Buckley 50--Toby Curto scored 31 points to lead Liberty Christian to the championship of the Buckley tournament. Steve Moon had 14 points and 12 rebounds for Buckley.

Oakwood 67, Masada 55--Brandon Dimassa scored 31 points, including five three-point baskets, to lead Oakwood (2-1) in a third-place game of the Buckley tournament.

La Canada 61, Agoura 49--Standout center Richard Mandeville scored only six points for La Canada and fouled out late in the third quarter of the third-place game. However, Dale Brockmeyer scored 19 points to lead the Spartans (3-1).

Benon Ureda scored 13 points for Agoura (3-2). The Chargers scored only four points in the first quarter.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Thousand Oaks 58, Magnolia 32--Senior forward Marion Jones (29 points) accounted for half of the Lancers’ offense in a first-round victory in the Savanna tournament.

Jones scored 13 points in the first quarter, helping the Lancers jump to a 25-3 lead.

St. Genevieve 61, Notre Dame 50--Donna Peterson scored 22 points to lead the Valiants (3-0) in the championship game of the L.A. Baptist tournament. Valery Brady scored 24 for the Knights (2-1).

Bell-Jeff 42, Oxnard 34--Soph Joan Batarina scored 14 points and Christina Ticsay added 13 to lead the host Guards (2-0) in a nonleague game.

L.A. Lutheran 49, Oakwood 40--The Lions captured the Buckley tournament championship behind 14 points by tournament most valuable player Holly Roepke.

Quartz Hill 53, Chatsworth 41--Ryan Beckstead scored 19 points and led the Rebels (3-1) in the fifth-place game of the Saugus tournament.

Chatsworth (1-4) was paced by Mike Cable, who scored 11 points.

Glendale 58, Victor Valley 37--David Sofro scored 19 points to lead the Dynamiters (1-2) in the seventh-place game of the Saugus tournament.

San Fernando 75, Westlake 64--Javy Ramos scored 25 points to pace the Tigers to the consolation championship of the Saugus tournament.

Canyon 41, Saugus 38--Greg Minor made a 30-foot shot at he buzzer to break a 38-38 tie and give the Cowboys (2-2) a win in the 11th-place game of the Saugus tournament.

Minor finished with a team-high 13 points. Mike Williams of Saugus led all players with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Thousand Oaks 6, Crespi 0--Raja Hawa scored four goals to lead the Lancers in pool play of the Thousand Oaks tournament.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Royal 3, Alemany 1--Jennifer Evans scored two goals and Amanda Love one as Royal (2-0) won its first two games in the Simi Valley tournament.

In a 5-0 win over Saugus, Evans and Maggie Perez each scored two goals.

Simi Valley 4, Harvard-Westlake 1--Heather Heit scored two goals and Beth Thompson and Heather Stanley added one as the Pioneers (3-0) won a second-round game of the Simi Valley tournament.
