Former Cincinnati Bengal cornerback Lewis Billups was arrested after allegedly raping a woman, videotaping the ordeal and threatening to show the tape to the victim’s husband if she didn’t pay $20,000, police said.

Billups, 29, of Longwood, Fla., and Gregory Calloway, 35, of Orlando, were charged with sexual battery and extortion, Seminole County spokesman George Proechel said. Proechel said that after the story appeared on the evening news, more women called the sheriff’s office to complain of similar ordeals with the same two men.
