Lewis Billups, former pro football cornerback who has been charged with sexual battery and extortion, complains women have been making harassing telephone calls to his house.

One woman demanded $300 and another wanted to meet him “for a good time,” Billups told the Seminole County sheriff’s office in Sanford, Fla.

Billups, 29, a former cornerback for the Cincinnati Bengals and Green Bay Packers, and a friend, Greg Calloway, 35, were arrested Dec. 17 after a woman said she was drugged and raped by Billups on Nov. 30 while visiting his home. She said Calloway, who lived with Billups, videotaped the assault.

The woman told police that both men threatened to distribute copies of the videotape to her husband and others unless she gave them $20,000. Both men have denied the charges and are free on $50,000 bail. Since the arrests, other women have come forward to accuse Billups of similar assaults.
