Thousand Oaks High forward Paul Foster has spent his life being compared to, linked with and, most frequently, mistaken for Nick Foster, his identical twin.

Last week, Paul (6-foot-7) stood out against Agoura and Royal. Foster, who leads the Lancers in scoring (16.8 average), had 38 points and 23 rebounds as Thousand Oaks, ranked second in The Times’ area poll, improved to 15-1.

Foster, who guards the opposition’s best offensive player, shined on defense, blocking six shots and holding Agoura’s Jeff Niemann and Royal’s Khamisi Thurman to 12 and four points. Niemann was four-for-11 shooting against Thousand Oaks; Thurman was two-for-11.
