PREP POLLS : Mater Dei Boys Finish No. 1 Again

Mater Dei received all six first-place votes and finished the regular season as the top-ranked boys’ team in the Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep basketball poll.

It marks the ninth time in the last 10 years that Mater Dei has been top-ranked in the county at the end of the regular season. Saddleback finished as the top-ranked team in 1989.
