Outlook: Can you say smooth sailing? The three-time league champion 400 relay (49.23), the county’s second-fastest foursome, returns almost intact with Ross, May and Curtis. Bowman was fourth in the state in the high jump, and Heads reached the State meet in the shotput and discus. Clayton is the defending league champ in the 100 LH last year. Smith, the team’s top cross-country runner, is in her first full year of track. And Palanjian, after running junior varsity all year, ran 1:00.5 in her 1,600 relay leg in last year’s section prelims.
