Two players from Pacific League co-champion Carson High lead six South Bay seniors who have been named to the 56th All-City Section baseball teams by the Amateur Athletic Foundation/First Interstate Bank board of athletics.

Carson pitcher Jason Cole and teammate Ben Padilla, a shortstop who was drafted in the 32nd round by the Dodgers, were among five area players chosen to the 4-A Division squad. The others were Banning catcher Joe Gama, San Pedro pitcher-designated hitter Larry Cannon and Westchester second baseman Jose Martinez.

Narbonne infielder Carlos Martinez was named to the 3-A team.
