OUTLOOK

The Pirates return the most proven players and should be the favorite in the Central Division rather than Saddleback. Workman said Mather is much improved over last season, when he threw for 685 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 575 yards and five touchdowns. The defense is led by Pua, whose quickness allows him to control games.
