Notre Dame 15, Bishop Montgomery 50--Notre Dame swept the first seven places in the Mission League opener at Malaga Cove Beach in Palos Verdes.
Notre Dame’s Mike Wallace ran the three-mile course in 17 minutes 45 seconds, with John Radmacher second in 18:19.
WATER POLO
Crescenta Valley 12, Temple City 4--Romas Kudirka scored four goals, and Ryan Bittle and Harland Love each added two for the Falcons in the nonleague match at Crescenta Valley.
Kudirka scored three of his goals in the first half when the Falcons (3-0) surged to a 7-1 lead.
Millikan Tournament--Harvard-Westlake defeated St. John Bosco, 16-4, and Marina, 9-7, in the first two rounds of the tournament played at Lakewood High. The Wolverines will play in the quarterfinals at 4:40 p.m. today.
Richard Won scored three goals against St. John Bosco and Ronald Scott scored four goals against Marina for the Wolverines (2-0).
GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
Santa Barbara d. Royal, 15-5, 3-15, 12-15, 15-12, 15-13--Terry Enright had 25 kills and 26 digs, but Royal lost at Santa Barbara.
Jenny Treglown added 13 kills for the Highlanders (3-3) and Heidi Ferguson had 47 assists.
Saugus d. La Canada, 16-14, 16-14, 15-12--Lindsey Estes had 10 kills and Amy Gillis seven kills to lead the Centurions at Saugus.
Westlake d. Hart, 15-2, 15-7, 15-3--Kristin Lee had 17 kills and Shanon Sincock added 15 in a match at Westlake (2-0).
