Glendale 35, La Canada 7--Senior quarterback Ramon Jose completed nine of 14 passes for 112 yards, including one touchdown to lead Glendale at La Canada. Jose also rushed for a touchdown.

Glendale senior Neal Sowter rushed for 131 yards in 16 carries, including a one-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Defensive back Mauricio Pena intercepted two passes, and he returned one 36 yards for a touchdown to put Glendale ahead, 32-7.

Glendale (2-0) held La Canada (0-2) to 103 yards total offense, including only three yards rushing. La Canada quarterback Matt Perrigue completed four of 20 for 101 yards with three interceptions and one touchdown pass. Christopher Carr rushed for 30 yards and scored a two-yard touchdown in the first quarter for Glendale.
