SEASON AT A GLANCE: Pastorini, the defending City Section singles champion, finished the regular season with a 13-0 record while playing mostly No. 2 singles for the Toreadors (13-0), the top-seeded team in the section team tournament that starts today at The Racquet Centre in Studio City. Pastorini is 34-0 over the past two seasons. The only player who has come close to beating her is friend and Taft teammate Julia Feldman, who fell, 6-4, 6-1, in the final of the 1992 section individual tournament. Feldman, a junior, plays No. 1 singles for Taft.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Pastorini, who was ranked among the top 35 in Southern California 18 and under last year, closed out the regular season with 8-0 victories over Kennedy’s Cindy Phan and El Camino Real’s Eileen Lin last week.
