Lions Sign Forward From Sacramento

Ben Ammerman, a 6-foot-7 forward at Jesuit High in Sacramento, has signed a letter of intent to attend and play basketball for Loyola Marymount, Lion Coach John Olive said.

Ammerman averaged eight points and six rebounds last season for Jesuit, which was 35-2 and lost to Crenshaw in the State Division I final. Jesuit’s other loss was to Jersey City St. Anthony, the New Jersey state champion.
