OUTLOOK

Foothill struggled through a rough season last year, winning only one game. And though the Knights return all five starters, they are still a young team and this could be another rebuilding season. The Knights will have to rely on a starting lineup of three sophomores and only two seniors--team captains Farwell and Wallace. “My main concern is that we are so young,” Cazett said. “We lost a lot of games by five points or less last year. Our inexperience killed us in crunch time.” Steinle, who started as a freshman last year and was named to the second team all-league, led the Knights in scoring. “She improved a lot over the summer and she is one of the better three-point shooters in the league,” Cazett said. The Knights have a promising group of new players to fill out their roster this season. Freshmen Beltran and Kuehn are expected to battle for starting guard spots.
