Edison 40, Canyon 20--Mike Graham scored four touchdowns to spark Edison at Orange Coast College. He finished with 210 yards in 21 carries, scoring on runs of 14, nine, 73 and 21 yards.

Canyon suffered a bad break early in the second quarter when its top rusher, Ed Williams, left because of an ankle injury.

Fred Polito was the only consistent threat for Canyon, gaining 78 yards in 21 carries. Williams had 61 yards in five carries.
