El Dorado 60, Los Alamitos 25--Michelle de Bruijn scored 14 points and had 12 rebounds for host El Dorado (11-3, 1-0).

Brea-Olinda 72, Magnolia 15--Kiyoko Miller had 18 points, Sarah Beckley 14, Nicole Erickson 11 and Colleen Hudson 10 for Brea-Olinda (12-0, 1-0).

Western 63, Anaheim 24--Jennifer Christensen scored a school-record 38 points for Western, breaking Vicky Evans’ mark of 36 points set in 1988. Isabel Rojas added 10 points and 19 rebounds for the Pioneers (7-9, 1-0).

Valencia 41, Savanna 38--Tough defensive play by Shelly Gamba, who had five steals, helped Valencia hold off a late rally by visiting Savanna. Jamie Snavely had 10 points for Valencia (6-5, 1-0).

In the Sea View League:

Woodbridge 84, Corona del Mar 31--Tami Weaver had 17 points and Lisa Weaver had 12 rebounds for second-ranked Woodbridge (13-0, 2-0).

University 61, Santa Margarita 50--Mary Medina had 16 points for visiting University (8-2, 2-0).

Capistrano Valley 62, El Toro 34--Susan Scott had 24 points and sister Katie had 14 for the visiting Cougars (8-4, 1-0).

Mater Dei 51, Dana Hills 38--Leticia Oseguera scored 12 of her team-high 18 points in the second half for host Mater Dei (11-2, 1-0), the fourth-ranked team in the county.

San Clemente 51, Mission Viejo 44--Shawna Waldner scored 23 points and had five steals for host San Clemente (11-3, 1-0).

In the Sunset League:

Rosary 68, Fountain Valley 55--Jennifer Chey scored 22 points and Kathleen Celio added 17 and 14 rebounds for as host Rosary (8-1, 2-0) upset the county’s fifth-ranked team. Fountain Valley (9-4, 1-1) led, 44-39, after three quarters, but Rosary outscored the Barons, 29-11, in the fourth quarter. Chey scored 17 of her 22 points in the final quarter.

Ocean View 59, Edison 39--Farrah Magee had 15 points and 16 rebounds and Alison Juroe scored 15 for Ocean View (10-3, 1-1), offsetting a 19-point, 21-rebound performance by Edison’s Marie Philman.

Huntington Beach 69, Santa Ana 49--Monica Geraci had 21 points, eight rebounds and five steals for Huntington Beach (6-5, 2-0).

Marina 64, Westminster 37--Martita Emde had 19 points and six assists and Sonya Bryant added 13 points for ninth-ranked Marina.
