There is little doubt about where Tom Airey can be found when Irvine Valley has the ball. Airey, a sophomore from Capistrano Valley High, takes his usual corner spot, waiting for a three-point chance. Last week, he had 16 three-pointers in two games, including 10 in Irvine Valley’s 111-106 victory over Orange Coast last Wednesday in the Orange Empire Conference opener. He finished with 32 points. Airey had 20 points, including six three-pointers, as Irvine Valley beat Fullerton, 93-92, Friday. Airey has made 81 of 199 three-point attempts (42%).
