In other Sea View League boys’ games:

Saddleback 2, Irvine 1--John Maldonado and Abdias Avila each scored and goalkeeper Eddy Lopez had an assist and made eight saves for third-ranked Saddleback (16-2-3, 7-0-3).

Tustin 2, Newport Harbor 1--Carlos Sandoval scored two second-half goals for visiting Tustin (9-7-2, 4-4-2). Chris Wakim scored for Newport Harbor (4-11-1, 2-7-1).

Woodbridge 5, University 1--Shawn Saunders scored three goals and Gustaf Gratzer and David Moats each had one for Woodbridge (7-6-4, 2-5-3).

In Sea View League girls’ soccer:

Irvine 6, Saddleback 1--Rise Richard, Katie Roda, Kim Fischer, Kelly Richey, Erin Rummens and Casey Teele scored the goals in Irvine’s victory. Emma Hernandez scored for Saddleback (0-8-2 in league). Irvine is 11-6, 7-2.

Newport Harbor 4, Tustin 0--Jill Nelsen, Lindsey Curtis, Chantey Breezebeck and Meggen Fleener scored for Newport Harbor (10-8-2, 6-3-1). Kacy Jones got the shutout. Tustin is 1-11-4, 0-5-4.
