The Cal State Northridge men’s basketball game against Northeastern Illinois, scheduled for Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. in the Northridge Gym, has been moved to Firestone Fieldhouse at Pepperdine, Northridge Athletic Director Bob Hiegert said Wednesday.
The Northridge Gym is not expected to be cleared for use until Feb. 14 as crews repair damage from the Jan. 17 earthquake and subsequent aftershocks.
Baseball
The actual date of Cal State Northridge’s home opener remains in limbo because of earthquake-related problems.
Home games scheduled for Feb. 11-12 against UCLA and Cal State San Bernardino will either be played on the road or at an alternate site in the Valley, such at Pierce College.
Northridge already moved two scheduled home games this weekend to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Northridge was 12-13 on the road in 1993.
