Estancia 5, Costa Mesa 0--Jairo Arceyut pitched a two-hitter with nine strikeouts for visiting Estancia (7-7, 3-3). Art Martinez had three singles, scored a run and drove in another also for Estancia. Pedro Arceyut had two RBIs for the Eagles.

Laguna Hills 2, Laguna Beach 0--Matt Johnson and Ryan McDermott combined for a one-hitter to lead Laguna Hills (6-8, 3-3).

In the Century League:

Foothill 7, Orange 2--Mike Ford had two hits including a double and drove in three runs for visiting Foothill (9-7, 5-1).

Ross Parkin had a two hits including a double and drove in two runs also for Foothill. Joe Torrez didn’t allow a run 2 2/3 innings for his sixth save.

Canyon 8, Santa Ana Valley 1--Greg Jacobs (4-0) allowed only five hits pitching a complete game for Canyon (11-4, 4-1). Teammate Scott Redfox went 1-1, with two walks and three RBIs. Darren Chandler had two hits with two RBIs for the Comanches.

In the Arrowhead League:

Southern California Christian 4, Anza Hamilton 2--Matt Caballero gave the Flames (8-2-1, 1-0) a 2-0 lead with his first-inning double. Josh Cameron, David Enda and Tim St. Clair had two hits each, and Mike Felten struck out eight in 6 1/3 innings for the victory.
