In another Pacific Coast League game:

Costa Mesa 14, Laguna Beach 5--Tabby Cleveland had four hits and stole five bases, and Melissa McDaniel had two hits and three RBIs for Costa Mesa (8-7, 3-1).

In the Century League:

Foothill 1, Canyon 0 (12)--Lauren Bauer doubled in Marissa Holmes with the winning run in the 12th inning for Foothill. Robin Tessman (3-1) pitched eight innings of no-hit relief for Foothill (14-6, 3-1).

In the Empire League:

Los Alamitos 3, Esperanza 0--Debbie Wilson pitched a no-hitter for top-ranked Los Alamitos (15-4, 4-0), striking out nine and walking six. It was her first of the season. Carolyn Wilson put Los Alamitos on top with a two-run double in the first inning.

El Dorado 4, Loara 3--Freshman Carrie Jeffries had a two-run double in the fourth to lead El Dorado (13-6, 3-1). Kelli Tom struck out four and gave up three unearned runs and four hits to improve to 6-3. Nikki Hart added two hits for the Golden Hawks.

In the Freeway League:

Buena Park 6, La Habra 5--Angela Boles had a two-run double and Dana Galeener a two-run triple for Buena Park (5-9, 2-2). Kristie Bravo had three singles and an RBI and Aimee Weathers had a two-run double for the Highlanders (5-10, 1-3), who scored three in the seventh.

Fullerton 1, Troy 0 (13)--Alissa Sorrell drove in Ashley Jones with a single in the top of the 13th for Fullerton (9-12, 3-1). Angie Fancuberta pitched a five-hitter and struck out nine for the Indians.

Sunny Hills 1, Sonora 0--Jennifer Deane struck out six and gave up two hits to record her fifth shutout of the season. Megumi Takasaki’s single drove in the winning run in the bottom of the third.Sunny Hills is 10-8, 3-1.

In the Garden Grove League:

Kennedy 10, Santiago 0 (5, mercy)--Senior Krista Dowland pitched her second perfect game of season for fourth-ranked Kennedy. Lisa Pitt went three for three, scored two runs and had two RBIs for the Fighting Irish (7-0-1 in league). It is Kennedy’s fourth no-hitter in six games and its second consecutive perfect game. Pitt pitched a perfect game against La Quinta on Tuesday.

Pacifica 1, Garden Grove 0--Garden Grove (12-9, 5-3) intentionally walked Toni Mascarenas with two outs in the bottom of the sixth to get to Andrea Pickett. Pickett, who was six for six in her last six at-bats, delivered an RBI single to left to score Autumn Gwinner. Pacifica ()12-5-1, 6-1-1) is ranked eighth.

La Quinta 2, Bolsa Grande 0--Kelly McLaughlin pitched a one-hitter and Linda Rodriguez and Veronica Carrillo had an RBI for 10th-ranked La Quinta (13-5, 6-2).

In the Olympic League:

Whittier Christian 11, Capistrano Valley Christian 0 (5, mercy)--Visiting Whittier Christian took advantage of 11 walks and three hit batters.

Calvary Chapel 3, Ontario Christian 1--Keri Przgyocki struck out seven, gave up two hits and had two hits, two RBIs and scored once for Calvary Chapel (6-14, 3-4).

Cerritos Valley Christian 3, Brethren Christian 0--Susie Schoales pitched a three-hit shutout for Valley Christian (15-3-1). She had 10 strikeouts.

In the Orange League:

Western 8, Valencia 2--Freshman shortstop Adriene Ratajczak went two for three, scored twice and had one RBI for Western (10-8, 2-2).

In the Sunset League:

Fountain Valley 8, Westminster 4--Laurie Gillis had a home run and scored two runs and Alicia Burdick had three hits and scored a run to lead Fountain Valley (10-7-1, 6-2).

Heritage Christian 12, Pacific Shores 4--Alisia Kean had four hits, including a double, and four RBIs for visiting Heritage Christian (6-5).
