Rain Washes Out High School and Community College Events

All three Orange Empire Conference community college baseball games involving county teams that were scheduled Tuesday were postponed because of wet grounds.

Golden West at Orange Coast, Riverside at Cypress and Fullerton at Saddleback were rescheduled at 2:30 today.

The Orange Empire softball game between Irvine Valley and Fullerton was canceled.

Prep baseball--Century League: Canyon at El Modena postponed to today; Foothill at Santa Ana Valley postponed to Thursday; Orange at Villa Park postponed to a later date. Garden Grove League: Pacifica at Kennedy postponed to Thursday. Olympic League: Whittier Christian at Orange Lutheran and Ontario Christian at Calvary Chapel postponed to today. Pacific Coast League: Laguna Beach at Century and Trabuco Hills at Estancia postponed to today; Costa Mesa at Laguna Hills postponed to Thursday. Sunset League: Fountain Valley at Servite postponed to today; Huntington Beach at Santa Ana postponed to a later date; Friday’s Servite at Huntington Beach game has been moved to Saturday.

Prep softball--Arrowhead League: La Sierra Academy vs. Southern California Christian at Hart Park will be rescheduled at a later date. Century League: Canyon at Villa Park and Santa Ana Valley at Orange rescheduled to Monday. Empire League: Loara at Esperanza rescheduled to today; El Dorado vs. Cypress at Oak Knoll Park rescheduled to May 4; Los Alamitos at Katella rescheduled to a later date. Express League: Rolling Hills Prep at Heritage Christian rescheduled at a later date. Freeway League: Troy at Sunny Hills postponed to Monday.

Olympic League: Brethren Christian at Orange Lutheran postponed to today; Calvary Chapel vs. Capistrano Valley Christian at San Clemente Sports Complex postponed to a later date.
