Nadia Hoerner and Valerie Miller hit back-to-back triples and Amy Simpson singled in Miller in the 12th inning to give Fullerton a 2-0 victory over fourth-seeded Lakewood in the second round of the Southern Section Division II softball playoffs Tuesday at Lakewood.
Angie Fancuberta (16-12) gave up seven hits and was supported by a solid defensive effort.
